The things people ask

What happens to my work if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted and nothing is hidden. Your books, reviews, shelves, profile, serials, and everything else stay exactly where they are and stay public. What stops is your ability to start new campaigns on the paid features listed above, and your advert rotation drops back to one. The review and critique exchanges are free and stay free — they are what the site is for, not something it sells. Credits you have already earned stay in your account.

What about a community I already run?

It keeps running. Creating a community needs Author Pro; keeping the one you have does not. Taking a community away from its members because the owner's card expired would punish the wrong people.

A payment failed. Do I lose access immediately?

No. A failed payment starts a 5 days grace period during which everything keeps working, and you will get a notification asking you to update your card.

Are the credits transferable between the four exchanges?

No, and deliberately. Reviewing a published book, critiquing a draft, listening to a ten-hour audiobook, and critiquing a narrator's performance are different amounts of work. One pool paying for another would drain whichever is cheapest to earn in. The monthly grant lands in the review pool.

Can I get an invoice?

Yes — every payment is on your billing page, and Stripe's customer portal has the downloadable invoices.
